Keep the Isles going!

The Isles emerged for only one week – they had short but amazing life. Big thank you to all who helped in organising them: especially Year 9 students, Audrey Mullins, Fiona Gerrans and Becky Moll. And everyone else!!! THANK YOU and keep the Isles going.

Isle of Pests – on Friday 9th July

During Friday lunch join us at the link bridge to experience the attack of pests! 200 of them will enter the school site!  Limited numbers of people allowed to the bridge so join us early! The attack starts at 1.15pm sharp!

Isles of Silly – on Thursday 8th July

On Thursday we are pausing with lunch events as Isles of Silly will be revealed at 5pm. Join us for an exceptional tour around the school that will feature 7 islands and installations and live actions around them.

Race was a big hit!

Isle of Music – on Wednesday 7th July

Wednesday lunch time is all about music. One Man Destruction Show will be present in the main courtyard by the main gates.  Unmissable! Lunch time will never be the same…

Isle of Babel – on Monday 5th July

On Monday 5th July, 10 people speaking 10 different languages: Chinese Mandarin, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Spanish, Dutch, German, Hungarian, French and Turkish will be present in the school courtyard and will be providing quick language lessons free of charge!!! Visit the Isle of Babel during lunch hour to experience the language chaos and improve your language skills before summer break!

Isles of Silly performative tour on 8 July 2010, tours at 3 and 5pm

Visit Isles of Silly

On the 8th July Stoke Newington School & Sixth Form opens it gates to the visitors for a performative tour through the corridors and classrooms of the school by artist Ania Bas and Year 9 students she has worked with during her year long residency there. You can join us for this tour and visit the Isles of Silly. Tours at 3pm and 5pm – booking essential! (follow the links for each date to book).
